Our Philosophy

We publish original work — and we take the time to decide what truly deserves to exist as a book.

Aurevia Press is a selective publishing house committed to discovering original voices, authentic ideas and exceptional manuscripts. We publish original works, and we evaluate every manuscript before accepting an author for publication.

Each submission undergoes a detailed review that assesses originality, quality, value and publishing potential. We believe every book deserves thoughtful attention and professional execution — which is why we choose to publish few, and care for each one completely.

01

Originality first

We publish original works only. Every manuscript is read as a singular piece of writing, never as a category to be filled.

02

Selective by design

Every submission passes through a detailed evaluation of originality, quality, value and publishing potential before a decision is made.

03

Quality over quantity

We keep a deliberately small list. Attention is a finite resource, and every accepted book receives all of ours.

The Selection Process

How a manuscript becomes a book.

There is no shortcut through this process — and that is the point. Each stage exists to protect the quality of what we publish and the trust of the authors we work with.

  1. Step 01

    Initial reading

Every manuscript that reaches us is read in full. We begin with the work itself — its voice, its intent, and whether it holds attention from the first page to the last.

  2. Step 02

    Originality & integrity

We assess whether the work is genuinely original, whether its ideas are the author's own, and whether it brings something to readers that is not already on the shelf.

  3. Step 03

    Editorial assessment

Structure, craft, clarity and consistency are considered in detail, alongside the book's value and its publishing potential in the wider market.

  4. Step 04

    Decision

Accepted authors are invited into a direct conversation about the work, the vision for the book and the path ahead. Not every manuscript is accepted — and we say so clearly.

  5. Step 05

    Publishing & production

From editorial development and cover design to typesetting and production, the process is managed by our team through to the finished, professionally published book.

Publishing

What we do, from first page to finished book.

Our publishing process is managed by our team, with support across the various stages of bringing a manuscript into a professionally published book.

Manuscript assessment

A considered, detailed reading of your work — its strengths, its possibilities and where it stands.

Editorial development

Structural and line-level editorial guidance that helps the manuscript become the book it was meant to be.

Design & typesetting

Cover design and interior typography treated as part of the reading experience, not decoration.

Production & publication

A professionally managed path to the finished book, with our team overseeing each stage.

Studio

Cover studies in restraint and form.

A glimpse into our studio's typographic direction — quiet covers, generous space and a belief that a book should feel as considered as it reads.

Submissions

Send us your original manuscript.

We read submissions from authors around the world. If you have written an original work and believe it deserves to be published, we would like to see it. Every manuscript is evaluated — and acceptance is subject to that evaluation.

  • A short synopsis or overview of the work
  • A sample of the manuscript, or the complete work
  • A brief note about you as a writer
  • Confirmation that the work is your own and unpublished
Questions

Before you submit.

A few honest answers about how we work, what we look for, and what to expect.

No. Aurevia Press is deliberately selective. Every manuscript is read and evaluated, but acceptance depends on originality, quality, value and publishing potential. We would rather publish a small number of books we fully believe in than a long list we do not.

Original manuscripts across fiction and non-fiction. What matters most is that the work is genuinely your own, that it has something to say, and that it is written with care.

Write to editor@247444.xyz with a short overview of the work, a sample or the complete manuscript, and a brief note about yourself. Please state clearly that the work is your own and previously unpublished.

It varies with the volume of submissions and the length of the work. Detailed evaluation takes time, and we prefer to give each manuscript proper attention rather than a rushed answer. We aim to respond to every submission we receive.

You will be told honestly. A decline is not a judgement on the worth of your work — it means the manuscript was not the right fit for our list at this time. You remain free to submit the work elsewhere.

Yes — simply let us know in your submission email so we can be mindful of your timelines and any other conversations you have in progress.
